Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of strategic asset management planning.
  • Provide technical advice on electrical systems, public lighting, and more.
  • Manage operational issues associated with electrical assets.
  • Plan and implement data collection programs for assets.
  • Collaborate on telecommunications infrastructure management.
  • Develop procedures for implementing "smart technologies".
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the evolution of electrical and communication systems.
  • Provide consultancy services for infrastructure designs.
  • Support asset data management and reporting.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and workplace culture development.

Key Requirements: Mandatory:

  • Engineering degree with substantial experience.
  • Operational experience in building services or outdoor services.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Technical problem-solving skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Current "C" Class Driver’s Licence.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of public lighting design and management.
  • Experience with Lighting design software and CMS.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or PowerCAD.
  • Familiarity with DNSP / Energex functions and processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar large organization.
  • Experience in establishing electrical asset management policies.
  • RPEQ registration or working towards it.
