You'll be responsible for:

  • Deliver the Commercial Property Major Loss strategy to provide exceptional service to all stakeholders, aligning with the organization's high-quality standards and cost efficiency.
  • Translate and integrate corporate goals into team objectives, fostering a culture of inspiration and results-oriented performance, akin to the agile transformation and shaping of the organization.
  • Implement and manage systems and processes to improve operational efficiency, eliminating non-value-adding activities, which resonates with the aim of enhancing work quality and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative business models, such as the Group TEX Large Loss framework, ensuring the team's skills are aligned with future demands and trends.
  • Maintain up-to-date Business Continuity Plans to ensure the department's resilience, mirroring the objectives of IT Service Continuity Management in restoring services swiftly after disruptions.

About you:

  • Significant experience in claims management and leadership within a complex, matrixed general insurance organization.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance claims, current technologies, and management trends in the industry.
  • Proven ability to analyse business insights and trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements, growth, and cost savings.
  • Demonstrated capability to understand market dynamics and customer needs to secure business development opportunities that enhance profitability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes effectively.
