About the role

ARC is looking for a new team member to join our Wagga Wagga branch as an Operator where you will be using manual machines to shape & cut reinforcing bar.

You'll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution. It also opens doors for career progression and development opportunities.

The shifts for this role are Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM and 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. These will be on a rotating basis.

As a key member of the team you will:

  • Operate manual benders to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh
  • Operate a forklift
  • Accurately pick and pack orders
  • Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
  • Promote and contribute to a safe workplace
