Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Your duties will include

·       Provide evidenced based nursing care

·       Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

·       Ensure patient and staff safety

·       Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care

·       Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health, recovery and rehabilitation post-surgery

Essential Criteria:

·       At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse

·       Current Registration with AHPRA

·       Surgical Nursing experience

·       Commitment to Quality Patient Care

·       Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Works well independently and within a team
