We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Renal Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renal care, a passion for patient-centred care and the ability to work efficiently during PM and night shifts.

You will be a crucial member of our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care including management of fistulas, treating AKIs and managing renal failure, administration of monoclonal antibodies, monitoring fluids and maintaining accurate fluid balances.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct.

Specialities include; 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver comprehensive nursing care to renal patients.

· Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

· Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

· Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

· Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

· Current Registered Nurse through AHPRA.

· Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a renal or nephrology setting

· Proficiency in renal patient management and an understanding of keys signs and symptoms of rapid deterioration.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

· Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

· Flexibility to work PM shifts and night shifts.
