Production Coordinator

The purpose of the Production Coordinator role is to ensure that the Production Plan is followed, coach and lead the production teams to ensure all tasks are completed in line with Quality, Safety, and work standards. The role will be responsible for seeking improvements in production performance, utilisation and equipment across the site.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract. 

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in an operation or production leadership role preferably within the food industry
• Good knowledge of HACCP, SQF and GMP
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety, health and environment initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in leading the allocation and distribution of large volumes of work using inhouse and external resources
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relationship management, and collaboration

Desirable

• Tertiary qualification or relevant, equivalent professional experience in Frontline Leadership & Management
• 2 – 5 year’s experience in Supervisor role in Food Manufacturing
