Well-established manufacturing company based in Acacia Ridge are seeking a Fabrication Foreman and Leading Hand with strong background across the mining sector to join their team. 
These positions are offering stable ongoing work in a safe team oriented workshop. The company is a leading Australian owned manufacturer with over 40 years of expertise manufacturing a variety of equipment and machinery attachments for the construction and mining industry.
Full time positions offered after initial 6 month probation is complete. 

Job Details 

  • $64.68 - $71.87 Plus Penalties + 15% Afternoon Shift Loading on Ordinary Hours
  • Full-time casual position which will lead to permanent 
  • Equipment, machinery, attachment manufacturing
  • Based in Acacia Ridge 
  • Afternoon shift - 3:30pm - 10:30pm

Key Responsibilities 

  • Heavy fabrication experience in mining equipment, truck trays, service modules, and mining attachments (must be a qualified boilermaker).
  • Machinery, Attachment, and Equipment manufacturing
  • strong understanding of safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Ability to Motivate and Mentor team members
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experienced Foreman or Leading hand (must be trade qualified) 
  • Heavy gauge MIG welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience welding with flux core and solid wire
  • Confident welding multi-run passes and fillet welds 
  • Physically fit to carry out the role 
  • Ability to work regular overtime when required
  • Current Forklift License is desired but not essential
