Fabrication Foreman

**About the Role**:
Full time permanent role, **Leading Hand Boilermaker or Fitter**

Working at the Meadowbrook,** Brisbane**, you will be suitably **qualified and experienced in the manufacturing industry**.

You will need to have experience in similar roles and be able to provide recent relevant references to confirm skills.

- Full time position offering **38 hours per week.**:

- **Occasional overtime**:

- **Excellent pay rate $50/hr (Permanent Position)**

**About You**:

- Trade Qualified boiler maker or Fitter, 5 years experience minimum.
- Supervising experience
- Past Proven experience in a similar role.
- Good communication and team management.
- Adhering to and maintain high work health and safety standards.
- Able to interpret technical drawings
- Ensure daily schedule is always followed.
- Ensure timekeeping is always upheld including, clocking on and off job cards.
- Ensure Purchase Order requests are completed according to the daily requirement.
- Mentor/train and supervise apprentice workers.
- Implement a lean manufacturing culture throughout the welding bay and mentor/motivate the team for best production outcome and content workforce.
- Complete daily QA inspection of job tasks, jig use, best method and assist in IP capture/improvements.
- Liaise with the supplier maintenance teams and schedule servicing of equipment.
- Assembly assistance with Project work.
- Opening and closing (securing) of the business premise.
