We are seeking multiple, Australian qualified Maintenance Electricians for their site in Cannon Hill.

These positions are responsible for a wide variety of maintenance, repair, upgrade and project work on equipment, systems, and machinery throughout the entire facility. Responsible for maintaining the meat processing plant and equipment to support the day-to-day requirements of the business. We are looking for self-motivated trade personnel with good ability to diagnose and troubleshoot as well as provide preventative maintenance across the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work meets the company’s safety & housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
  • Adhere to all scheduled preventative maintenance works and attend any breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the team regarding maintenance in various locations of the plant.
  • Trouble shoot any faults throughout the plant and rectify any issues through demonstrated problem solving.
  • Manage tasks involving quality & safety onsite ensuring that everything is communicated to your site supervisor.
  • Conduct maintenance in line with all WHS and QA systems.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Previous experience working in a large, fast paced modern FMCG environment preferred
  • Disciplined ability to work safely and autonomously in a team environment
  • Rebuilding and servicing equipment experience
  • Must have excellent fault-finding skills

Lifestyle roster – 7 on then 5 off, 5 on then 4 off, Day shift 4am to 2.30pm / Afternoon shift 2.30pm to 1am.
