The Workforce Resourcing Advisor will be a valued member of the Workforce Resourcing (recruitment) team, within People and Culture and will be responsible for providing expert advice and knowledge in the job design and coordination of end-to-end recruitment, selection and appointment; and on-boarding processes. Duties and tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant New South Wales (NSW) and Victorian (VIC) Awards, Policies, Procedures, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and recruitment related legislation including Department of Health circulars and bulletins.
  • Respond to People and Culture Workforce Resourcing requests via the internal ticketing system, Success Factors, phone and walk-in inquiries within the team at optimal standards. 
  • Plan and manage the recruitment and selection process; advise and assist hiring managers in job analysis, position description development, selection practices, and appropriate induction and onboarding processes for AWH.
  • Provide recruitment advice to Hiring Managers with reference to best practice, policy, procedure and legislation, including recruitment and onboarding processes, enterprise agreements, classifications, and grading advice. 
  • Responsible for processing and reviewing recruitment-related documentation in an efficient and timely manner and liaise with Managers to ensure completeness of the recruitment and onboarding process in accordance with AWH policies and business rules.
  • Provide high level and timely advice, support, guidance, and coaching to staff, and management in relation to HR and workforce functions.
  • Supporting users of all Workforce systems including HRIS systems and rostering systems by providing data analytics and reporting, system user support, and delivering training for the system as required.

The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a relevant qualification in Human Resource Management or Business; and/or experience in a similar position. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of HRIS, proven time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of business affairs.
