What’s on offer?

We are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Structures team delivering Bridge construction and maintenance works based in Picton, Western Australia. We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead the team delivering various Bridge works packages including Bridge demolition, construction of new structures, bridge refurbishment and strengthening, culvert construction and associated roadworks and drainage improvements.

In this role you shall perform the following:

  • Supervise crew and site to ensure key responsibilities are met and lead daily pre-start meetings to address all site requirements.
  • Ensure crew work outputs exceed client expectations, are well planned and highly productive and resolve daily site issues when they arise.
  • Scheduling, forecasting, procurement and management of materials, plant, personnel, and subcontractors
  • Liaise with management team to ensure programmed works are planned well in advance
  • Report and monitor workplace hazards, risks, issues, incidents and revise SWMS or Controls
  • Monitor weekly/monthly program and identify delays.

You will have experience in a Supervisory/Leadership role, with an:

  • Ability to understand what is required, set the direction, and communicate the plan day to day to the crew.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and a drive to build, create and produce outputs to high standards.
  • Be highly organised, possess strong communication skills and be able to influence a team.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to read basic contract terms and standard industry specifications and quality system's needs. Appropriate training and support will be given.
  • Proven commitment to team management and site safety.
  • Valid Drivers’ Licence and an ability to overtime, weekends and away from home as required.
