Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor, and we are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team delivering some exciting machining, welding and metal finishing projects, based at our Picton Head Office near Bunbury in Southwest WA. The roster will be 5:2.

You will have experience managing and coordinating production activities, including workshop trades, planning, and delivering on large-scale machining and fabrication projects.

**The duties for this role include**:

- Prioritising, planning and delegation of earth moving and mining production tasks.
- Ensuring operations fall within legislative, contractual and industry guidelines.
- Supervise and coach employees in company OH&S policies and procedures.
- Delivering effective leadership and supervision through engagement, guidance, support and feedback to teams and individuals.
- Provide direction, advice and liaise with site supervisors, clients, other supervisors, employees, service personnel and contractors.
- Conduct induction and safety training to employees.
- Be proactive with continuous improvement processes.

**To succeed in this role with Piacentini, you will need**:

- Proven experience in earthmoving and mining.
- Background experience working with fabrication, machining, and metal finishing teams and on CAT D9 / Excavator / Grader / Wheel Loaders and various Komatsu equipment.
- Proven experience in the supervision and management of personnel.
- Ability to lead teams and build a proactive and positive team culture.
- Ability to communicate information quickly and precisely and achieve desired outcomes.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- A proven commitment to excellent site safety standards.
