ECMS’ philosophy is simple: We foster lifelong learning. With over 27 years of operation, we are one of Victoria’s largest Early Years Managers, impacting the lives of 5,500 Victorian children each week through our 69 kindergartens and childcare centres.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nominated Supervisor to lead our team at Alamanda Kindergarten, one of our most established services in Point Cook. Located alongside Alamanda College, our service comprises 9 groups and roughly 25 staff members.

This is a full-time, off-the-floor, ongoing position.

Your Role: Leading with Passion and Purpose

This dynamic leadership opportunity will see you inspire and drive the educational program and practices through mentoring and providing professional development to Educators. As a Nominated Supervisor, you will:

• Build strong collaborative relationships with parents, families, Educators, and the local community to deliver an inclusive and enriching play-based learning program.
• Be a pedagogical leader, reinforcing the ECMS and Alamanda Kindergarten community values and beliefs.
• Lead and support a team of Educators by providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance operational practices and values-driven behaviour.
• Inspire a positive learning culture at our established centre with your motivation and drive.
• Be supported by the Area Manager in day-to-day operations and Child Safety Compliance Advisors.
• Contribute to a child-safe environment, ensuring standards are met daily.
• Be supported by a full-time, off the floor Assistant Nominated Supervisor.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a leader, with a proven track record of leading a large team and developing strong relationships with various stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Child Safety Standards.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing high-quality, inclusive programs for children of all ages.
• Current VIT, National Police Check and First Aid Certificate. 
• Experience with Qikkids and Story Park is highly regarded.
