About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nominated Supervisor to lead our team at one of our established services in Victoria. As a Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspiring and driving the educational program and practices through mentoring and providing professional development to Educators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Collaborative Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, families, Educators, and the local community to deliver an inclusive and enriching play-based learning program.
  • Pedagogical Leadership: Reinforce the ECMS and Alamanda Kindergarten community values and beliefs, and lead by example in promoting a positive learning culture.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of Educators by providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance operational practices and values-driven behavior.
  • Child Safety and Compliance: Contribute to a child-safe environment, ensuring standards are met daily, and work closely with the Area Manager and Child Safety Compliance Advisors.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience as a leader, with a proven track record of leading a large team and developing strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Child Safety Standards, as well as demonstrated experience in creating and implementing high-quality, inclusive programs for children of all ages.
  • Certifications: Current VIT, National Police Check, and First Aid Certificate.
