About the Role

Flinders University is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-centric student, who is currently studying at the City Campus, to join the dynamic and supportive City Campus Services teams as a City Campus Student Ambassador. You will deliver high-quality front-line customer service to a wide range of visitors to the campus, including but not limited to future and current students, professional and academic staff and local industry.

In this exciting casual professional role, you will be required to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a frontline service capacity, supporting customers with a range of enquiries.

  • Offer in-person support for student related issues such as wayfinding and connection to service, maintaining student ID cards, enrolment and class registration support, fees, exams, graduations and general queries.

  • Provide administrative support and other appropriate duties as directed.

  • Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with a wide variety of other student service providers throughout the University.

  • Host campus tours for students, prospective students and other visitors

About You

Your confident interpersonal and communication skills will be the key to your success, as you build and maintain effective relationships with our team, other staff, students, and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate excellence in service provision and be an approachable individual, with a vibrant attitude that allows students to feel supported. You will also foster positive professional relationships which will contribute to the development of an inclusive, cohesive, and encouraging team culture.

Experience in customer service roles is a bonus, however, no prior education or work experience is required as all training is provided in-house This opportunity is available to students enrolled at City Campus.
