Oracle APAC ISV team is one of the fastest-growing and high-performing business units in APAC, serving a broad range of customers across the APAC region. ISVs are at the forefront of today's fastest-growing industries. Much of this growth stems from enterprises shifting toward adopting cloud-native ISV SaaS solutions. This transformation drives ISVs to evolve from traditional software vendors to SaaS service providers. Industry analysts predict exponential growth in the ISV market over the coming years, making it a key growth pillar for every hyperscaler.
Role OverviewAs a Cloud Architect/Engineer in ISV ANZ team, you will be playing a pivotal role in helping ISVs modernize, optimize, and enhance their applications. You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of ISV Customers and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, with a keen focus on modernizing and enhancing ISV applications.
You'll be part of a blended team of Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers, collaborating to bring cutting-edge solutions to our customers. This is a customer facing role. You may be required to travel to and work at customer location(s), Oracle office(s), remotely or hybrid.

Key Requirements Ability to act as an advisor/consultant who can work independently and/or as a team to understand and analyse customer’s architecture, identity the gaps and areas of improvements aligned with Oracle cloud strategies and best practices - and demonstrate strong plan and drive the roadmap. Ability to act as presales partner who can work along with sales teams towards driving consumption growth and new workloads. Ability to forecast consumption growth, participate in sales forecast and contribute towards account planning. Skilled and Experienced Cloud Engineer with wide and deep hands-on knowledge across a range of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services – from core infrastructure to modern cloud services. Ability to assist customers across their IT/cloud roadmap from solution architecture design, demos, proof-of-concept, implementation, go live, facilitation with support issues etc. Solid experience in any Cloud Hyperscaler solutions as Solution Architect/Cloud Specialist/Cloud Engineering/Sales Consultant Detailed Description and Job Requirements Partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design, and deployment.Engages with strategic customers, builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions. Works directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through highly customized presentation demonstrations to customers, and at conferences, and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Identifies gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. Leading contributor, may provide direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May interact with C level. Maintains expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
