Join the Dream Team at The Focal Point Optometrist We're on the hunt for a superstar Optical Dispenser to bring their sparkle to our fabulous team.

A bit about you

You are either a certified or experienced Optical Dispenser. You love seeking out the perfect optical solutions for clients to make their lives easier and enjoy working with children, families and those with special needs.   

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with patients and visitors, including a bright, friendly demeanor.
  • Exceptional patient service skills both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Proficiency in managing appointment bookings and patient enquiries efficiently.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge (frames, lenses, sunglasses, contact lenses, accessories).
  • Sales skills for optical products (frames, lenses, sunglasses).

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors in a bright, friendly manner and promptly attend to their needs.
  • Engage with patients to ascertain individual needs through lifestyle questions.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Assist patients with frames and lens selections using up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Manage social media accounts and create/maintain merchandising and creative displays.
