Part of the Workforce Planning team, the Analyst Workforce Planning is responsible for the creation and optimization of crew pairings and rostering to attain optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses, all while upholding adherence to Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, and internal protocols. This role requires strong partnerships with both Internal and external stakeholders with the ability to present data sets and improvements to the business. This role will conduct thorough evaluations of various planning scenarios, extracting key insights to identify the most economical and operationally advantageous rostering strategies.

You’ll have –

  • 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals

  • Highly developed analytic, strategic, lateral thinking and problem solving skills

  • Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyse, interpret and present numerical data for business insight

  • Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, facilitate or make decisions and plan action

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilisation within a complex organisation

  • Advanced user of MS Office including excel and other cloud services

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Planning, Finance, Logistics, or Aviation is desirable but not essential
