Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse ready to assume a role in our dynamic Early Parenting Unit? 

 

Position Responsibilities:

We are looking for nurses who exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality family centre care. It is imperative that you can work in a team environment and be able to care for families who are requiring compassionate support. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.

 

About us?

Northpark Private’s Early Parenting Unit is an open, low risk, 8 bed ward with a variety of experienced clinicians and vast multidisciplinary team, who aim to provide cohesive and supportive care for our families.We admit Paediatric (digestive issues and sleep/settling) patients up to the age of 12 months and Psychiatric patients (mothers/or fathers) who require on-going support with their mental health.

Northpark Private Hospital is a leading healthcare facility that specializes in acute surgical, medical, maternity and mental health services. Located in the rapidly developing Northern suburbs of Melbourne, Northpark and La Trobe Private are very easily accessed via the Western Ring Road, Eastern Freeway and also by public transport.

 

 Selection Criteria: 

·         Current Registration with AHPRA  

·         Working with Children Check 

·         Experience in the Paediatric and/or Psychiatric Nursing

·         Compliance with ACQSHC National standards 

·         Exemplary interpersonal/communication, time management and prioritisation skills 

·         Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team

·         Previous Perinatal Nursing and/or Early Parenting Unit experience (desired)
