We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst a proven track record on enterprise technology programs to lead business analysis activities for our Strategic Capability Program. Your focus will be on collaborating with individual project teams and their business analysts to elicit, refine and document business requirements that align with our overarching program goals.

This role includes ensuring safety, delivering quality business analysis services, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities also include stakeholder engagement, risk management, technology innovation, and team collaboration. The role supports professional development, aligning technology solutions with business needs, and contributing to long-term strategic goals and improvements within SA Water.

You will: 

  • Act as the central point of contact for business analysis within the program, working closely with project teams to ensure their requirements are comprehensive, actionable and aligned with our enterprise architecture, particularly within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Partner with the Strategic Enterprise Architect to ensure that requirements meet business needs and contribute to the long-term evolution of the technology landscape.
  • Proactively identify and manage dependencies between projects and other enterprise initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and maximising the value delivered by our technology investments.
  • Work closely with the projects to ensure that requirements deliver and are aligned to the business capabilities and benefits identified by the Program.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the business analysis practices, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration across project teams Champion the use of data-driven insights to inform decision-making throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring solutions are effective, efficient and aligned with strategic objectives.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst on large-scale enterprise programs, with the ability to lead and coordinate business analysis activities across multiple projects
  • To support this role it is required that you have previous Business Analyst experience.
  • IT degree or relevant tertiary qualifications in business or equivalent career experience.
  • A passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement, with a track record of successfully implementing new approaches and methodologies within the business analysis domain
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies, including infrastructure, data management and security considerations to ensure that project requirements align with our cloud first strategy.
