Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic trucks to deliver for customers? As our Seasonal Casual Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that  

Available shifts:

  • Monday to Friday (enjoy your weekends off)
  • 10:00pm - 5.51am OR
  • 11:00pm - 6:51am

(Optional weekend work may be available)

Pay:

  • Earning competitive casual rates from $47ph (inclusive of casual and shift allowances)
  • + 12% Superannuation
  • Weekly pay
     

Mandatory licences

  • Minimum Heavy Combination (HC)
  • Forklift licence

You’ll be 

  • Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery using a forklift
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   
  • Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups   
  • Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  
  • Starting and finishing at our Sunshine West facility
  • Working full-time hours starting from October through to January

 

About you

  • You’re available to work from October, through to January.
  • Must hold both Heavy Combination & Forklift licenses  
  • You’re safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  
  • You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  
  • You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights  
  • You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
