The role

We have an opportunity for a HR advisor to join our HR Team for a Fixed Term Contract till December 2024, providing generalist HR advice and support across Rheem Australia and assisting the HCM Project Team with the new HCM implementation.

You will be a part of a supportive and collaborative HR Team reporting to the HR Manager and working with the broader HR Team, HCM Project team and across departments.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards obtaining relevant HR qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR Advisor role with a sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices.
  • A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a collaborative environment.
  • A sound working knowledge of Change Management Principles.
  • Experience working with HRIS and HCM systems
  • Proficient knowledge of employment legislation and Modern Awards
  • Sound ability to interpret legislation and to provide advice
  • Experience creating training manuals and system user guides
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
