Baringa Private Hospital has an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a key leadership position

Permanent full-time position Part-time/job share opportunity for the right applicants will be considered.

The Opportunity

Baringa Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Perioperative Leader to join out theatre team on a full time or part time/job share basis.

Reporting to our Perioperative Services Manager, your role will involve efficiently coordinating our operating services, ensuring exceptional service and high quality care is maintained every day.

You will play a vital role in the daily functioning of our theatre, oversee all services and processes, and support and provide leadership to the multidisciplinary team working within our theatres.

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Operational leadership, driving timely and efficient patient flow through our theatres
  • Provide day to day supervision, support and leadership to the theatre team
  • Promote and contribute to a supportive and engaged team environment
  • Promote of a culture of continuous improvement
  • Rostering, audits and people leadership
  • Assist with the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure efficient and responsive patient centred care

About You

You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of clinical care and service.

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Experienced clinician with extensive experience working within a fast paced theatre environment
  • Proven labour management/rostering experience
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality, patient focused care
  • Knowledge and understanding of accreditation standards and processes

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
