About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer with minimum NV1 security clearance to be a responsible role in investigating enterprise data requirements and designing and implementing data solutions. Your responsibilities will include selecting appropriate techniques for data modeling and design, providing guidance on data structures, and implementing gateway capabilities. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of data technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.

About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Investigate enterprise data requirements and plan data modeling and design activities. Select appropriate techniques and levels of detail for meeting assigned data objectives. Provide advice and guidance on data structures and associated components. Design and implement gateway capabilities, including virtualization and containerized solutions. Utilize security hardware and software to ensure the protection and security of data. Contribute to the implementation of data technologies such as Ansible, Bash, Docker, Java, and Kubernetes. Develop and maintain technical documentation for data solutions.

Requirements:

Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable Strong understanding of data modeling and design principles. Proficiency in implementing gateway capabilities, including virtualization and containerized solutions. Experience with data technologies such as Ansible, Bash, Docker, Java, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Apache, and NIFI. Knowledge of security hardware and software for data protection. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
