We are looking for a Senior Business Analysts with data background to join our Core Infrastructure Modernisation Program. In this role you will be undertaking Data analysis work to support the Core modernization initiative will actively work across data and workload migration streams. You will be involved in analysing data, creating data and workload migration strategies etc.

Your background

  • Deep expertise in delivering business analysis for large scale Infrastructure Transformation/Migration programs.

  • Have a strong IT business analysis experience and knowledge in Infrastructure Technologies

  • Experienced in understanding, gathering, and documenting complex requirements for a variety of systems and domains.

  • Knowledgeable in the Infrastructure and Networking domain

  • Experience working on large scale procurement activities (RFT, RFP)

  • Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Reserve Bank and externally.

  • Be an energetic strategic thinker who has considerable attention to detail.

  • Have a curious and accountable mindset.

  • IIBA Certified – CBAP (Preferred)

  • Extensive experience using Jira for requirement management.

Additional Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to draw on and apply data science techniques, as well as other relevant skills/experience, to analyse recurring and/or well-defined topics using established approaches. Demonstrate some ability to undertake analysis covering topics that are less well-defined and/or require a wider range of approaches to extract and analyse data.

  • Demonstrate ability to understand and interpret a broad range of data sources, publications, and other relevant information sources, as input into and context for work on data science projects.

  • Demonstrate ability to identify and assess alternative/new sources of data and other information to support core and extended analytical outputs.

  • Demonstrate a proficient ability to transform a variety of traditional (e.g. structured databases) and non-traditional (e.g. text) data into formats that are appropriate and valuable for analytics.

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate orally convincingly and credibly and in writing results of analysis and data science techniques. Demonstrate an ability to explain technical content to a general audience. Communicate with a degree of clarity and efficiency.
