The Role

Joining our team as an Occupational Therapist, your role will include clinical coverage on the Rehabilitation Ward in both the inpatients and outpatients setting. You will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to provide patients with the highest level of care.

The successful candidate will work at North Shore Private Hospital, a teaching hospital involved in some of the world’s most innovative research programs and cover casually at Hunters Hill Private Hospital for leave periods.

In this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programs and a supportive management team.

Your Key Skills and Experiences

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in an acute setting
  • A strong commitment to professional development
  • Evidence of ability to identify clinically appropriate interventions and implement evidence based practice into service development.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, service providers, external agencies, patients, families and caregivers.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise and evaluate evidence based practice within assessment and treatment protocols. 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $38.53 - $53.80 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances. (NSW HPSS Level 1 – 2).
