Maintenance Supervisor

Golding is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our mining services contract at the South Walker Creek Mine located near Mackay (1.5 hrs).
The successful candidate will have a hands on and can do approach as well as proven on site mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.
This role will operate on a lifestyle 7/7 Day/ Night rotating roster.
Camp accommodation and meals will be provided.
Key role tasks:
- Frontline supervision of workforce ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner;
- Sourcing and attaining of required parts and resources;
- Instruct and supervise the workforce to ensure compliance with legislation and procedures;
- Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults;
- Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components;
- Routine servicing of all equipment both site workshop and field based;
- Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings;
- Participate in Hazard Identification, risk assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews.
Key capability requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications;
- Heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience;
- Experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role is preferred;
- Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision;
- Knowledge of SAP highly desirable;
- Excellent attitude towards safety and commitment to zero-harm;
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic;
- Sound problem solving and analytical skills.
