About the role 

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Stores Officer, based in Queanbeyan.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of regional stores, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. Your role is pivotal in supporting the Regional Services Manager and Materials Manager to meet W&D objectives. You will implement and maintain standard procedures to optimise store operations, manage inventory, and ensure excellent customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in all warehousing activities.

About You 

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in store operations.  You excel in managing inventory efficiently and are adept at optimising space and resources. Your strong communication and customer service skills ensure that you can effectively engage with depot management and meet customer expectations.  You thrive in dynamic environments, are a flexible team player, and can prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  Your commitment to safety and best practices is evident in all aspects of your work.

Required Qualifications 

Certificate III in Warehousing Operations Driver Licence Forklift Licence

Or: Demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.

Desirable:

Heavy Rigid Truck Licence
