Our client SIGANTO AIR SERVICE & SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is looking for HVAC Technicians,

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure jobs are performed to a high standard; checklists are completed correctly and jobs are closed out in a timely manner
• Prepare accurate service reports, providing a detailed breakdown of work performed
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers whom manage sites you work at
• Organise any customer required permits, SWMS’, work plans and approvals etc. (in conjunction with Safety)
• Maintain existing service contracts with the ability to source new business development
• Liaise with facility managers when on site
• Identify repair work and prepare repair/ replacement work quotes
• Follow up with customer to convert repair work quotations
• Provide expert advice to technicians and customers
• Generate accurate PO’s and be accountable for their collection
• Source parts and equipment efficiently
• Assist with HVAC installs when required
• Liaise with the customer as necessary
• Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained for all employees
• Mentor Apprentices and Young Technicians
• Ensure training and development of fellow technicians (in conjunction with Management)
• Maintain individual regulatory requirements, i.e. licencing, test and tag, device calibration etc

• Perform maintenance within the allocated time allowance
• Generate quotes, with the emphasis of finding repairs during routine maintenance
• Provide first contact resolution with no call backs for poor workmanship or mis-diagnosis
• Achieve a minimum of 25% margin on quoted works for sites not covered by contractual rates
• Have an external focus and knowledge of the industry with the intention of identifying new maintenance opportunities

• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills Education / Qualifications
• Completed Cert III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
• Current Restricted or Open Electrical Licence
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Construction Blue/ White Card
• • Current CPR/LVR Certification
• Current manual drivers licence Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified Tradesman
