We are looking for a Project Officer who is passionate about their communities to work alongside community and government stakeholders. You will have knowledge and or experience of the New England North West region and in local community governance and community engagement. Innovative with knowledge and or experience in contract management. This is an ongoing role, grade 7/8, based within the New England North West region. Flexible working arrangements are supported and can be negotiated with management

About the role.

The Project Officer will work with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs NSW, New England North West regional team. 

The role requires the Project Officer to perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives. As part of a team the Project Officer facilitates partnerships between Aboriginal community governance bodies, government agencies, and the private and not for profit sectors to achieve common goals that support the social, economic, and culturally development of Aboriginal communities.
