About the Opportunity
Reporting into the Technology Services function, this pivotal role will be supporting the Technology Transformation program in the management of the Technology Environments with a team-centric and a business-focused approach to telecommunications, aligning business objectives with IT operations to consistently deliver reliable and efficient IT services. 

A day in the life of a IT Environment Manager @ Endeavour 

Release Planning and Coordination:

Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to plan and schedule application and platform releases across various environments. Ensure that release schedules are aligned with project timelines and business objectives. Coordinate release activities, including change approvals, deployment planning, and rollback strategies.

Environment Management:

Manage and maintain multiple environments, including development, staging, testing, and production. Implement and enforce environment standards and configurations to ensure consistency and reliability. Monitor and optimize environment usage to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Deployment Automation:

Develop and maintain automated deployment processes to streamline the release of applications and platforms. Work with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess potential risks associated with releases and implement mitigation strategies. Perform risk analysis to minimize the impact of releases on production systems.

Release Documentation and Reporting:

Ensure that detailed release documentation, including release notes, configuration changes, and version control are documented and maintained. Generate regular reports on release activities, performance, and incidents for management review.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster effective communication and collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams during the release process. Ensure stakeholders are informed of release progress and any potential issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in environment management and release automation. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

What you’ll need to succeed

Technical 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Software Engineering, or related field. Amaster's degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in environment management, release management, or related roles within an IT or software development environment. Strong knowledge of release management methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in version control systems and release automation tools Experience with application deployment on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy and consistency in the release process.
