Electrical Engineer Level II

Perth, Australia TSS Full time

TSS Group is looking for a level 2 Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Perth and be part of a major LNG project in WA. This company is a leader in its field, with a strong pipeline in Mining, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors. Their diverse portfolio and consistent workflow offer opportunities for long-term contracts and potential permanent roles. Instead of setting a fixed budget for this role, they are open to hearing your expectations to provide fair compensation according to your experience.

What will the candidate do?

  • Design onshore HV & LV electrical infrastructure, including brownfield integration.
  • Conduct electrical calculations and prepare design drawings (SLDs, schematics, terminations, general arrangements).
  • Develop project documentation (ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement and construction scopes).
  • Perform power system modeling for brownfield upgrades, as-built data, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops.
  • Identify and resolve engineering challenges, seeking assistance as needed.

Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Expertise in electrical engineering, with a focus on brownfield sustaining capital projects in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Solid understanding of HV/LV systems, electrical calculations, and system studies.
  • Experience with design drawings, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (beneficial).
