About the role
Freelancer.com is on the hunt for a Creative Strategist to join the wider Marketing & Communications team.

The creative strategist should ideally have a mix of copy writing, art direction and creative skills. This is an ideal role for someone who will take ownership of developing creative marketing campaigns across different channels. We're looking for an all-rounder who has a portfolio of compelling creative work.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has worked in an agency or in-house who wants to not only gain global brand exposure, but define the creative direction for the brand.

Although we’re a global company, we’re a startup at heart with a flat hierarchy, meaning you’ll be able to get direct access to senior leadership and have an opportunity to manage and lead any idea.

On a typical day, you may be working on a mix of the following:

  • Develop creative marketing campaign ideas, outlining the strategy, execution and channels
  • Develop strategic creative messaging and compelling copywriting for various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.)
  • Design visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts that bring creative concepts to life
  • Support video production, which may include shooting and editing the content
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all creative executions
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing, communications and design team on integrated campaigns and additional marketing requests


And when work is done, hang out with the team in our in-house, fully-stocked bar with Harbour views.

Qualifications

  • A degree in creative, communications, marketing, design or similar fields
  • 2-4 years+ of experience in a similar role - creative, copy writing, art direction
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Graphic design skills
  • Video production skills
