About the Roles

Are you a passionate and experienced communications, marketing,or media professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? About You

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates withthe following experience:

Journalist / Communications experience: Strong writing andediting skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engagingcontent. Social media experience: Proficiency in leveraging social mediaplatforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with audiences effectively. Website skill set/photography and videography: Experience inwebsite management, along with photography and videography skills to createcompelling visual content. Graphic Designers: Proven experience in design, branding andmarketing campaigns with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Project advisor/Marketing experience: Demonstrated expertise inproject management and marketing strategies, with a focus on driving resultsand achieving organisational goals.

Place brand and major marketing reposition: Play a key role indeveloping and implementing our place brand strategy to drive visibility andattract investment and visitors to the Latrobe City region. Latrobe City Council services marketing: Take charge ofpromoting our programs and venues, ensuring increased visitation and other opportunities. Corporate style and branding redevelopment: Support the revamp ofour corporate style and branding guide. Website updates: Manage and enhance our organisation's website,ensuring it remains engaging, informative, and user-friendly. Communication engagement practices: Contribute to thedevelopment of online tools and practices to improve community engagement andcommunication. Council plan engagement: Assist in planning and executing engagementstrategies for council plan updates, ensuring effective communication with thecommunity. Media requests and speeches: Handle multiple media requests,providing dynamic and unique content, and prepare speeches for our Mayor andCouncillors. Social media strategy: Contribute to the development andimplementation of our social media strategy to enhance our online presence andengage with our audience effectively.
