Vestas have an opening for a safety minded and client focused Site Manager in the Goulburn region to assist  contribute to the energy delivery targets and everyday running of our wind farms. You will be working with the individual Site Supervisors to achieve the designated targets and maintain the regular servicing schedules of our platforms.

The Vestas Wind Service division provides maintenance and scheduled services to our products on client owned properties. These wind farms are required to meet agreed KPI's regarding output, down time, running cost and safety/environmental responsibilities.

As a Site Manager, you will monitor the individual Wind Farms and their respective Site Supervisors to ensure these agreed KPI's are met. Your focus as the qualified applicant will be to develop and support on-site service capabilities, creating a customer focused culture and maximising profitability in line within Vestas Business objectives.

Responsibilities

Principle project leadership Effectively support Service, Warranty & CIM works Wind Farm leadership Ensure OH&S policy is effectively implemented and managed at site Ensure transition of projects from construction phase to Service Contracts Fiscal responsibility to Vestas, i.e. budget expenditure, cost control Manage and report to relevant client contacts Development of the business by ensuring system efficiency, setting progressive service strategies Develop self by undertaking technical and product training, and ensuring staff management capabilities are sufficient Support major sub-contractor relationships Support implementation and execution of Vestas business standards / KPI's

Qualifications

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or similar Trades background well regarded but not essential Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
