The Role
We are seeking a new Food & Beverage Supervisor to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team, reporting to the Restaurant Manager your passion is food, and you know your way around a drinks menu. You can’t wait to move up the ladder and you set an example for everyone in your team You will assist in leading the team and creating a dinning experience that keeps our guest wanting more.
 
You will collaborate with our guests by:

  • Creating an outstanding employment experience for the Food and Beverage Collaborators
  • Leading by example and Championing our Guiding Principles to bring the best out of your team.
  • Providing a warm and genuine service experience
  • Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same.
  • Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Food & Drink guides.

Your many talents will include:

  • Experience in higher-end restaurants and in leading teams.
  • Understanding of current gastronomic trends.
  • Exceptional knowledge of a-la-carte service, wine, and food pairing.
  • The ability to showcase the best of Newcastle to locals and the visitors.
  • A natural ability to connect with people from around the globe.
