The 2D Designer & Animator will play a key part in elevating our 2D art, animation, and UI designs to create engaging and impactful training materials. You will work collaboratively with designers, developers, and stakeholders to produce high-quality assets that align with project goals and user needs.

The position responsibilities are:

  • Design and Animation:
    • o Create high-quality 2D artwork, illustrations, and animations for AI and XR related training materials and educational content.
    • o Develop assets that align with the visual standards of interactive AI and XR applications, including character designs, environments, and user interfaces (UI).
    • o Design visuals and animations that complement AI-powered interactive systems, ensuring clarity and engagement for end users.
    • o Collaborate with AI and XR developers to enhance visual elements and animations that support machine-learning-driven educational experiences.

  Asset Creation:

    • o Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with Unity for traditional training materials.
    • o Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with web based application technologies.
    • o Maintain a cohesive design language across all assets while adapting to evolving project needs.

  Interactive Animation:

    • o Create 2D animations, including character rigging, motion cycles, UI transitions, and AI-responsive visual cues.
    • o Enhance the interactivity of training materials by integrating animations into AI systems.

  Tool Proficiency:

    • o Utilise design and animation tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Spine 2D, Figma or other relevant software.
    • o Ensure assets are compatible with Unity pipelines, including sprite sheets and animations tailored for data-driven responses.
