M&T Resources is seeking an experienced Visual Designer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Visual Designer, you will play a crucial role in elevating our 2D art, animation, and UI designs to create engaging and impactful training materials.

About the Role:

  • Create high-quality 2D artwork, illustrations, and animations for AI and XR related training materials and educational content.
  • Develop assets that align with the visual standards of interactive AI and XR applications, including character designs, environments, and user interfaces (UI).
  • Design visuals and animations that complement AI-powered interactive systems, ensuring clarity and engagement for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Animation
  • Create 2D artwork, illustrations, and animations that meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with AI and XR developers to enhance visual elements and animations that support machine-learning-driven educational experiences.
Asset Creation
  • Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with Unity for traditional training materials.
  • Produce optimised 2D assets compatible with web-based application technologies.
Interactive Animation
  • Create 2D animations, including character rigging, motion cycles, UI transitions, and AI-responsive visual cues.
  • Enhance the interactivity of training materials by integrating animations into AI systems.
Tool Proficiency
  • Utilise design and animation tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Spine 2D, Figma or other relevant software.
  • Ensure assets are compatible with Unity pipelines, including sprite sheets and animations tailored for data-driven responses.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in visual design, animation, and UI design.
  • Strong understanding of AI and XR concepts and their applications in education.
  • Proficient in using design and animation tools.

  • A competitive salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
