Injury Management Advisor

  • Rate is $50 p/h + super
  • Based in Doncaster, Victoria, Brisbane
  • Starting ASAP - up to 3 months with possibility for extension, pending business requirements.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate rehabilitation efforts for injured employees, including developing and updating return to work programs.
  • Provide expert advice and support on workers' compensation and injury management, promoting early intervention and stay-at-work initiatives.
  • Educate management and staff on their rights and responsibilities regarding workers' compensation and injury management.
  • Measure and report on performance trends related to workers' compensation and injury management.
  • Maintain accurate data in the injury management system/database.
  • Other duties as required.

About You

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • WorkCover Return to Work Coordinator Training.
  • Tertiary qualification in WorkCover Management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in injury and illness management, workplace assessments, and rehabilitation practices.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislative standards and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License.
  • Travel throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria may be necessary.
  • Must be able to pass clear Australian police check.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
