The Role
The A07 Web Project Lead will be a pivotal piece in driving the development and delivery of a fresh, engaging web presence for this State Gov department. The position will be dynamic and involve managing end-end website projects, excellent stakeholder engagement and will require a passion for human-centred design.

The Responsibilities
As the A07 Web Project Lead you will be required (however not limited) to:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a new customer-centric web presence, ensuring it is accessible, searchable, customer-focused and meets whole-of-government standards.
  • Develop and conduct research and engagement activities and prepare insights, journey mapping, personas and benchmarks to support design and delivery.
  • Lead the audit and editorial review of website content, ensuring it adheres to best-practice principles, focusing on search engine visibility (SEO) and a customer-first experience
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to optimise the customer journey across digital channels, ensuring a consistent and positive brand experience.
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of the website.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and online better practices to support continuous improvements to the digital customer experience.
  • Advise on best practice, mandatory standards and policy for web including accessibility requirements and information architecture.

There are no mandatory requirements for this position, however experience leading a similar Government project will be highly regarded. A qualification in digital marketing would also be favourable.
