Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of income tax returns and other statutory compliance documents.
  • Assisting in the provision of timely and appropriate business support and advice to customers in the area of financial and taxation accounting services.
  • Use of information systems to provide service and advice to stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the audit, review, investigation, and appraisal of systems and program evaluation.
  • Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in processing a high volume of administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in using computer information systems, including Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to provide quality advice in a high-volume enquiry environment.
  • Experience in reviewing complex records for taxation or similar purposes.
  • Knowledge of state taxation legislation and regulation, or comparable knowledge in a legislative environment.
