THE ORGANISATION
We are working with a rapidly expanding global asset management group with over 500 employees globally. They are looking to invest in their Australian business and have a strong growth trajectory for the next 12 months. With this in mind, they are looking to appoint their first HR Manager.
  
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Operations Director, the HR Manager will manage the HR functions for the Australian operations, with an emphasis on managing the recruitment and onboarding of employees as a priority for 2024.  
In addition to the management of the recruitment and onboarding process, this role will support the retention, performance management and remuneration processes. The HR Manager will also play a key role in developing and maintaining a rewarding work environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
The Australian operations and its related platforms are experiencing exponential growth with the associated increase in human resources needs.

THE CRITERIA
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years Generalist HR experience coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
You will have a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws in Australia, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in HR software and systems and strategic thinking.
