We have a permanent part-time position available for an In Home Support Worker supporting our clients across Hervey Bay. 

Your Role

As an In Home Support Worker you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include: 

Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plansUndertaking domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparationProviding support duties such as shopping, transport etcWorking as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

How You'll Benefit

You'll become part of the Ozcare family and you will receive:

5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading (pro-rated)NFP Salary Packaging and entertainment and meals card totalling $18,550 per yearUniform and laundry allowancePaid kms and travel time between clientsMobile phone suppliedEmployee Assistance Program

Role Requirements

Current Police Screening CertificateCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insuranceCurrent Queensland driver's licenceCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificatesProof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).Good computer & mobile device skillsPrevious experience in a similar role
