EHS Engineer

We are seeking a EHS Engineer to lead a project on a site of a global Pharmaceutical company. You will need to have experience working in EHS on a construction site ideally a GMP environment (pharma not necessary).
Your main duties will include:

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all site, company, and statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability, and Risk.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the site safety strategy.
  • Foster a positive and proactive safety culture.

 
Manufacturing Performance:

  • Ensure all safety measures are implemented throughout the construction process.
  • Implement and drive a Manufacturing Improvement Plan.
  • Cultivate a culture of engagement in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
  • Delegate EHS duties and educate site workers on requirements.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate the Manufacturing Teams on Hygiene Manufacturing Excellence (HMEx) processes.

Maintenance and Engineering Performance:

  • Contribute to site capital plans and lead manufacturing-specific projects.

 
People and Industrial Relations:

  • Build a customer and consumer-focused culture within the manufacturing team.
  • Lead and model regular engagement and effective communication with your team.
  • Establish a regular cadence of communication to share progress on site performance.
  • Lead the creation of a learning and development culture to build capability and foster higher performance.
