The Opportunity
Veolia is currently seeking an enthusiastic Autoclave Operator to join our East Arm waste facility. In this role you will process clinical and Bio-Security waste at Veolia’s EPA licenced waste processing facility.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

What you'll be responsible for

Process clinical and Bio-Security waste from customer sites, which includes frequent manual handling.

Maintain the compliance with Approved Regulatory Arrangements

Operate machinery - Autoclave, Shredder and boiler
-
Ensure disposal of waste is always within safe operating procedures and contract requirements
-
Resolve any incidents relating to the contract service levels, ensuring the Depot Manager is kept informed
-
Ensure processing area and factory premises is left neat and tidy
What you'll need to be successful

Forklift licence
-
Previous experience in the waste industry preferred but not essential

Car Licence
