About Reece

You probably know Reece as Australia’s largest supplier of plumbing and bathroom products.

We are now looking for an experienced Production Manager (Customised Product Solution Lead) to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.

About the role

Reece have expanded into new segments of the industry, adding HVAC-R, civil, irrigation and pools to its plumbing and bathroom core. We have acquired and developed businesses in these fields in recent years with great success. Reece is focused on developing customised solutions, and we are seeing growing need for prefabrication. This is a new role, which will be a strategic partner tasked with building out the function and team. Committed to safety, productivity and compliance, you will help to design processes, policies and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

The position is based out of our National Distribution Centre in Dandenong.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing/production operations or leading operational improvement projects in a large organisation
  • Experience leading and developing a team to deliver great results, with the ability to optimise and implement continuous improvements
  • Of upmost importance, a strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Tech savvy – an interest in tech developments, robotics and understanding new manufacturing capability
  • Relationship focused – this role would suit someone who can develop strong relationships across the business and really engage, and bring people on the journey so that they understand the value of this new function.
  • Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering/Supply Chain Management or another relevant area
