UOW Pulse is a not for profit organisation that enhances campus life for students and staff through events, entertainment and experiences. We work across a diverse range of outlets and commercial sectors to provide and deliver a memorable experience for the entire UOW community.
UOW Pulse is a proud Child Safe Organisation. We take the safety of children and young people that we employ, support and care for seriously, and have a zero tolerance for child abuse. The role
We’re seeking dedicated certificate III qualified educators to provide high quality education and care to our children. We have multiple positions available, across our services based in the Wollongong area:
- Kids’ Uni South – 1 x maximum term, full time contract to cover parental leave for 6 months
- Kids’ Uni CBD – 1 x permanent, part time role, working 24 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday)
- Kids’ Uni CBD – 1 x maximum term, part time role, working 24 hours per week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) in an ISS support role
- Kids’ Uni South – 1 x maximum term, part time contract to cover parental leave. This role will work 16 hours per week, on Thursday and Friday.
All services operate above regulations, ratios and required qualifications. We pride ourselves on our child-focused philosophy and our practices that keep children and families at the centre of all we do. All breaks are paid, training opportunities are paid at overtime rates, and as a full time Educator, you’ll be entitled to approximately 8 weeks of leave per year (pro rata)– between annual leave, time off in lieu and concessional days (extra days off between Christmas and New Year’s Eve).
What you’ll need to apply
- Qualified with a Certificate III in Early Childhood.
- Hold a current cleared Working with Children Check.
- Hold a current HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate.
- Be willing to undertake any additional training requirements for the role.
