UOW Pulse is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing campus life for students and staff through events, entertainment, and experiences. We operate across various outlets and commercial sectors to provide exceptional services for the entire UOW community.

We are a proud Child Safe Organisation, taking the safety of children and young people very seriously. Our strict guidelines, policies, procedures, processes, and training ensure that our teams can interact with and work alongside children and young people safely.

The Role

We're seeking highly qualified diploma holders in Early Childhood Education to deliver high-quality education and care to our children. Our centres operate above regulations, ratios, and required qualifications, offering a child-focused philosophy and practices that prioritise children and families.

  • Kids' Uni South – 1 x permanent full-time role
  • Kids' Uni North – 2 x maximum term, part-time (3 days per week) roles to cover parental leave
  • Kids' Uni South – 1 x maximum term, part-time, 16 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday) to cover parental leave

As an Educator with UOW Pulse, you'll enjoy benefits like paid breaks, training opportunities at overtime rates, and approximately 8 weeks of leave per year (pro rata). You'll also be entitled to concessional days off between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

What You Need to Apply
  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Have a current Working with Children Check
  • Hold a valid HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
  • Be willing to undertake any additional training requirements for the role

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your annual salary, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including paid breaks, training opportunities, and approximately 8 weeks of leave per year (pro rata).
