About the role
As part of the Solutions Architecture team, this role works closely with the Sales team and other Professional Services teams to convert customer requirements into functional solutions. This role’s primary purpose is to attend meetings, while supporting our Sales team in a senior pre-sales capacity. You will be engaging with some of AC3's most rapidly developing customers enabling them to disrupt their chosen market.

You will liaise with Relationship Managers and manage external relationships with our customers, supplies and vendors.

  • Work with the sales teams to translate customer business requirements into Statements of Work (SOW) or Proposals via direct customer engagement or formal RFQ/RFI processes.
  • Work with the sales teams to convert customer opportunities through a combination of technical and commercial expertise on building and designing solutions.
  • Ensure that proposals are technically sound, able to achieve claims made by them, and represent the optimum technical solution within defined constraints.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in responding to RFT/RFQs
  • Act as Lead Presales Architect in Bid Teams, working with the Bid Manager to lead multiple SMEs on responses
  • Able act as lead when covering multi-stream RFT/RFQ responses (e.g. Cloud, Network, End User Compute, SIAM, Cyber)
  • Help sales team determine win themes based on business requirements
  • Prepare for Face-to-Face presentations and present in front of CIOs and tender panels
  • Expert level of tender response writing and proofing
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starter
  • Good commercial acumen

  • End User Computing (Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Application Packaging, Application Controls, Azure Virtual Desktop AVD/ Windows Virtual Desktop WVD)
  • Directory Services (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IAM)
  • Hyperscale Cloud Microsoft Azure (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Migrations, microservices, monitoring, backup, reporting, directory services, automation)
  • Hybrid Cloud (Data Center, Virtualization, Servers, Database, Exchange)

Desirable:

  • Microsoft Cyber Security (Microsoft Sentinal, Microsoft Defender)
  • AWS

Desirable Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
