The Manager – IT Project Delivery will lead and manage a team of IT Project Managers who deliver IT Projects. You will ensure an appropriate IT Project Delivery governance framework is defined and maintained and support its adoption across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of IT Project Managers who are responsible for delivering IT Projects which contribute to the Company’s business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an IT Project Delivery governance framework (minimum standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, templates, tools), guiding the standardisation and continuous improvement in the delivery of technology projects across the company. 
  • Ensure the IT Project Delivery governance framework integrates and aligns with other frameworks so that appropriate governance arrangements are established. 
  • Develop, maintain and apply a process to ensure IT projects align with the governance framework (define roles & responsibilities in the framework, provide guidance to projects on alignment with framework, train project stakeholders on their roles and responsibilities). 
  • Take responsibility for the successful delivery of Group IT Projects in compliance with IT Project Delivery governance framework, collating project delivery performance data and managing the reporting of performance to Senior stakeholders.  
  • Undertake project reviews, making recommendations on how to improve project delivery and resultant implementation of those recommendations. 

What you will bring:

  • Relevant project management qualification or equivalent competency within an IT context. 
  • At least 2 years experience leading portfolio delivery teams or managing a Project Management Office. 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals and the successful execution of programs that meet business objectives. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple domains under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, combined with strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate technology concepts in business terms. 
  • Experience developing and managing the application of policies and procedures.
